Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez are still getting along great as their blended families head toward a big change.

An insider source told Entertainment Tonight that the "Waiting for Tonight" singer and the Alias alum are "very cordial" and have a "very healthy and functioning relationship." The source added that the kids are getting along and "learning and growing together as a new, extended family."

The update comes amid a big transition for Lopez and Affleck, who have reportedly purchased a $60 million home in Beverly Hills after months of house hunting. Lopez shares 15-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex Marc Anthony, while Garner and Affleck, whose divorce was finalized in late 2018, are parents to Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11.

The Last Thing He Told Me actor wants the move to be a smooth experience for the kids. "They have open communication and both are working to make this transition the best it could possibly be," ET's source said of the exes, adding that Affleck and Garner have a "healthy" coparenting relationship.

The insider added that Garner is in "a great space and feels good about where things currently stand with the new family dynamic." Her priority is for the kids to feel comfortable and for everyone involved to treat one another with respect.

Meanwhile, Lopez and Affleck are reportedly "closer than ever before," with the source sharing that the couple are "looking forward to connecting their families further together. They couldn’t be more thrilled about this new chapter."
