Jennifer Garner Swaps Her 4.5 Carat Diamond for a Chanel LBD

Three months after announcing her split from husband Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner made her first red carpet appearance as a single lady.
The actress, 43, wore a sheath-style LBD by Chanel to host the French design house’s Baby2Baby charity dinner in Los Angeles Tuesday evening—a foundation that provides needy kids with diapers and other necessaries.
Garner accessorized with a black patent leather clutch, a delicate watch, ankle-strap pumps, and enviable chestnut waves in her hair. It seems that going stag really suits her.
Notably missing from her outfit, of course, was her wedding band and 4.5 carat cushion-cut solitaire diamond engagement ring from Affleck, to whom she was married for 10 years and shares three young children. Ah, divorce.
Still, she had plenty of company at the dinner: Other celeb moms who joined her for the occasion included Rachel Bilson, Selma Blair, Jenna Dewan Tatum, and Ellen Pompeo.
