Jennifer Aniston Says Intermittent Fasting Changed Her Life

Jennifer Aniston recently broke the internet by creating an Instagram account, and now she's busting any rumors around her eating habits. The actress just admitted she participates in intermittent fasting, the health trend that uses different cycles of fasting and feeding, allowing individuals to eat during a predetermined window of time.

Aniston wakes up around 9 a.m. everyday and only sticks to liquids like celery juice and coffee in the morning, according to Insider. "I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours," she said.

Thankfully, she has her The Morning Show co-star Reese Witherspoon to motivate her to maintain her diet. Witherspoon also uses the intermittent fasting method and said she turns to Aniston for advice on all things "well-being" since she's so knowledgable about it. Give us all your secrets, Jen!!!


Aniston also makes it a point to have a mindful morning, saying she feeds her dogs, meditates, and works out before drinking her morning cup of coffee, the outlet reported. She's not the first celeb to rave about the positive results intermittent fasting has had. Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, and Hugh Jackman all use eating and fasting cycles.

If this diet lets us age as gracefully as these stars, we might just have to go ahead and try it for ourselves.
