Prepare to feel nostalgic, because Jennifer Aniston, 54, is taking fans straight back to the '90s with her special birthday tribute to Courteney Cox, 59.

On Instagram, the Morning Show actress posted a series of throwback pics and scenes from their classic sitcom, Friends. And in the caption, Aniston revealed her playful nicknames for Cox. She wrote, "I’d like to take a moment and wish my dearest CC the happiest of birthdays. If you’ve been lucky enough to know her, you know how incredible she is. The biggest heart and most generous of humans."

The star continued, "I love you, Cox-N-Hammer! Happy Birthday." CC and Cox-N-Hammer? Interesting indeed.

The post, which garnered more than 4 million likes in less than a day, led to hundreds of birthday wishes from fellow actors and fans in the comments. But there was one comment in particular that caught our eye—where Cox used her own nickname for her on-and-off-screen BFF. She said, “I love you Jenny Louise.”

If you recall, Cox also shared a heartfelt tribute to Aniston back in 2021, where she used the same nickname and hinted that it started very early in their friendship. Cox posted a few selfies with Aniston and wrote, "Happy Birthday Jenny Louise! We’ve known each other so long I don’t even remember why I call you that. I love you!"

Aniston's birthday tribute comes just a few months after the unveiling of Cox's star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. In February, both Aniston and Lisa Kudrow gave a touching speech to celebrate their friend's achievement.

Kudrow said, "To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney, and she is responsible for all of that. From the beginning of when we met her, she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you. And I was really nervous to meet her because I was a huge fan."

Aniston added, "From the beginning, she made it very clear that this was a true ensemble. She instilled into all of us to support each other and to love one another and that actors need to support and love one another."

Well, excuse us while we go watch reruns of Friends for the millionth time.
