Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon bummed champagne off Beyoncé and Jay-Z at the 2020 Golden Globes, and LOL

What happens when you’re Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon and you run out of water at your table at the 2020 Golden Globes? You ask Beyoncé and Jay-Z if they’ll share their champagne. And because you’re Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, how can Bey and Jay say no?

Here’s what supposedly went down behind the scenes at the January 5th show: Aniston and Witherspoon, costars on Apple TV’s The Morning Show, reportedly drank themselves dry at their Globes table. Meanwhile, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who had skipped the red carpet, were enjoying the show while sipping on their own bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne (nicknamed Ace of Spade). As Page Six reports, Jay bought out the company in 2014, and therefore, couldn’t really be seen drinking the Golden Globes-provided Moët & Chandon brand.

Noticing that their neighboring table was enjoying some high-class alcohol, Witherspoon refrained from asking a waiter for more water and asked the queen and king of the music industry to share their goods. And they obliged.
