Jennifer Aniston Just Reminded Us of the Iconic Pants She Used to Wear on Repeat
Dear Covid... You can kindly F@!k off now thank you BYE 👋🏼🖕🏼☹️ TBT

Whenever I read a sentence with the words “corona” or “virus” or “COVID” or even “19” my mind wanders and suddenly I’m in a panic spiral filled with images of hand sanitizer, face masks, and my dry, dry hands. This, though, was different. After looking at this TBT photo Jennifer Aniston graciously decided to remind us of, I threw both my middle fingers in the air. Yeah! She’s right, I thought. Covid can go kindly F@!k off.
The photo isn’t just cathartic though. It’s therapeutic. It reminds us all of a time when things were simpler. When Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were still together and she wore those bright orange cargo pants on repeat with a rib tank top that exposed just enough of her midriff and carried a cell phone with an antenna. Sometimes she paired the look with teeny tiny sunglasses because, you know, the future was bright back then. Now it’s blinding and those tiny specs wouldn’t do anything. Although I guess they would look nice over a face mask.
Aniston’s post clearly struck a chord. In the comments section, Oprah Magazine named her president. Lisa Kudrow, Ashley Benson, Michele PFeiffer, Naomi Campbell, Julianne Moore, and others all sent along a flurry of approving clapping emojis. The famous paparazzi photo has withheld the test of time but it tastes extra sweet this time around. Coincidentally, neon and cargo pants are also trending. It’s as if Aniston knew what 2020 would be like all along.
So while there is no right or wrong way to feel right now, a right way to cope may be to just buy an Aniston-inspired pair of cargo pants. If we all flip off COVID from a distance while wearing a pair, maybe it’ll get the gist. Then all we’d need is for Aniston to put those iconic orange cargo pants back on and for Brad Pitt to give her a call. Then nature will have certainly healed itself.
