Jennifer Aniston Had the Best Reaction to Mariah Carey's Throwback Attempt at "The Rachel"

Days after the recent Friends reunion aired, everyone began to feel nostalgic for the '90s sitcom — Mariah Carey, included.

On Friday, the pop star posted a photo of herself with a haircut arguably more iconic than her — The Rachel — and Jennifer Aniston, who originally made the layered chop famous as her character Rachel Green, responded.

"#FBF A sad attempt at the Rachel hairdo 😂 #friends," Carey captioned a photo of herself wearing her wavy locks in a half-up, half-down ponytail while performing on stage. And while Mariah may not be a fan of her throwback look, Jen gave her stamp of approval.

In the comments section of Carey's post, Aniston wrote, "LOVE IT 🔥."

Though, to be fair, even Jen herself had trouble styling the Rachel cut. Back in 2018, the actress paid tribute to the creator of the shaggy style, Chris McMillan, at the InStyle Awards, saying: "I got that haircut, that was like, 'Wow this is amazing,' and then I was totally left with this frizzy mop on my head, because I had no idea how to do what he did."

She added, "Nobody seems to know how to do what Chris does. And I figured out that's called creating job security."
