Jennifer Aniston Gave Us a Rare Glimpse at Her Natural Hair Texture

Jennifer Aniston has a signature style and if you're an avid Friends fan or just happened to grow up in the '90s, you can probably picture it. Her golden-brown hair typically falls halfway down her back and is blown dry to frizz-free, ramrod-straight perfection. She'll chop the occasional layer or switch up the location of her part, but mainly Aniston looks exactly as she did 20 years ago. (A refrain she's sick of hearing, by the way.) But in honor of her new series The Morning Show, Aniston and her longtime hairstylist Chris McMillan surprised fans and went natural.

McMillan shared a red carpet photo to Instagram noting just how rare it is to see Aniston's wavy hair. "This was such an honor to be a part of. The hair is Jen's natural curl and waves," he explained.

To create the look McMillan let her hair dry naturally then "minimally" touched it up by blow-drying the roots. Since this is Hollywood, Aniston's hair isn't completely untouched: He went in with detangling spray and leave-in conditioner then polished the look with a wave iron.

Aniston may be a fan of natural skin care, but she's shared that when it comes to hair she never plans to go gray. Her exact words: "I'm not gonna lie — I don't want gray hair."

Whether you straighten your hair, air-dry, or have a celebrity stylist follow you around 24/7, styling is a personal preference and we always support people trying something a little different. We're loving this look on Aniston and hope to see more of her natural texture as she promotes her new series.
