Jenna Ortega Stars in adidas' New World Cup Campaign

adidas just revealed its new 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup campaign, dedicated to the next generation of icons and football superstars. Featuring England Lioness Alessia Russo alongside Australian footballer Mary Fowler and German player Lena Oberdorf, the campaign seeks to be adidas' most impactful to date.

In a time when women's football is on the rightful rise, the campaign aims to drive more attention towards the game, encouraging and inspiring other young women everywhere to follow in the footsteps of the world's biggest players. Alongside players of the game, the campaign features a star-studded line-up of fans like David Beckham, Ian Wright and Jenna Ortega.

Developed under adidas' new "Play Until They Can't Look Away" proposition, the campaign implores the world to pay attention. The film also features subtle references to major moments in football, including notable shirt numbers, iconic tournament balls and more.

Speaking about the campaign, Russo shared, "Since I was little, it's been my dream to play at the Women's World Cup. This year, I get to live that reality and play my part in celebrating how far the game has come alongside some of the best in the world. Winning the EUROs last summer was not just a life-changing and unforgettable moment for me, but hopefully for girls across the UK too. I hope we did our bit to show them that playing at any level is possible, which is what we're also hoping to do with this campaign – inspire the next generation of icons."
