Jenna Ortega, 20, shared an no-makeup photo on Instagram recently that had everyone freaking out.
In the post, the actress revealed that Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes help her to remove fake blood from her skin, leaving her glowing and makeup-free.
Jenna swears by this Neutrogena product, and also likes to use Aztec Secret Healing Clay for face masks.
ICYDK, Jenna deals with a lot of fake blood in her roles. In fact, when she auditioned for her iconic role in Wednesday, the star hopped on a Zoom call covered in blood leftover from shooting her death scene in X, she previously told WIRED. So, it's safe to say that Jenna knows a thing or two about how difficult it can be to remove fake blood from your skin.
Luckily, the star has a hack—which she shared in case, you know, you ever need help removing any fake blood from your skin, too. Jenna posted a string of three photos on her Instagram, which show a succession of her getting all of her stage makeup off (and she is *totally* glowing in the no-makeup selfie she posted at the end). The secret to her clear, dewy skin? Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes.
"Without fail," Jenna wrote in her caption. It's clear that this must be a frequent occurrence for her.
Fans were hyping up Jenna in the comments. "@Neutrogena got the prettiest models and the best skincare products," one person wrote. "My biggest flex is that I use the same makeup wipe brand as Jenna Ortega," another wrote. Even Kerry Washington commented, "Obsessed." Perhaps she dabbles in Neutrogena Makeup Wipes, too?
If you're curious to know more about this star's skincare routine, you should know that Jenna has been an ambassador for Neutrogena for a few years now—so it makes sense that their cleansing wipes are a part of her routine. The star also swears by the brand's Stubborn Texture daily cleanser to remove any stage blood.
"It gives me a deeper clean while still being gentle on my skin. It takes off all the stage dirt and oils, and I know my skin really likes it," Jenna said of the cleanser to Elle last year.
For extra rejuvenation post-fake blood, Jenna turns to the Aztec Secret Healing Clay and adds apple cider vinegar to make herself a face mask. She told Elle that she makes herself a mask about once a week.
Other key ways Jenna keeps her skin so good are always wearing sunscreen (always important!) and changing out her pillowcases frequently, which she learned from a former cast mate, Kayla Maisonet.
"She gave me that advice, and it changed everything," Jenna told Byrdie in 2021.
I love skincare that is simple and affordable. Thanks for sharing your super easy hacks, Jenna! You're literally glowing.
