Jenna Ortega Dons Romantic Christian Dior Dress With Sheer and Floral Details for Emmy Awards 2023

Jenna Ortega arrived on Monday’s Emmy Awards 2023 red carpet in Los Angeles wearing a floral gown by Christian Dior. The actress wore a caged fit and flare dress designed in an eye-catching pastel green shade. The tea-length gown featured sheer floral adorned fabric.

Ortega accessorized with jewelry from Dior. The star’s shoes were mesh pointed-toe pumps by Christian Louboutin.

Ortega was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Wednesday Addams in Netflix’s “Wednesday.” The Emmy award ended up going for Quinta Brunson from “Abbott Elementary.”

Like Ortega, other stars embraced florals on the red carpet, including Selena Gomez in Oscar de la Renta, Ali Wong in Louis Vuitton, Simona Tabasco in Marni and Amber Midthunder in Marchesa.

Similarly, Ortega arrived in a monochrome floral look on Jan. 11 when she attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival 2024 in Palm Springs, Calif. To a screening of her newest comedy-thriller, “Miller’s Girl,” the star wore a white minidress with 3D appliqué flowers in place of a traditional bodice from Valentino’s spring 2024 collection.

The Primetime Emmys, presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, honor excellence in the television industry. Comedian Anthony Anderson hosts the 75th annual ceremony, which is broadcast on Fox. Although the awards show typically takes place in September, the 2023 Emmys were postponed until January due to the concurrent Screen Actors and Writers Guild strikes.
