Update, December 11, 2019:
After candidly posting on Instagram about her break from keto, Jenna Jameson said she's back on track. She posted a photo from her Hawaiian vacation, and shared in the caption that she is going to continue with the diet.
"Eternal summer here in Hawaii!" she wrote. "So excited to go back to the mainland for a week soon! Update on #keto... I’m back on track and I’m taking you on my journey!"
In her initial post, she said that she lived her "best carby life" while taking a pause and gained 20 pounds in the process. Maintaining keto is hard work so Jenna was considering switching to counting calories instead of following the diet. This Instagram post proves she made her decision, though, and will be living that keto life once again. If her honesty up to this point has been any indication, I'm sure she'll be updating her followers along the way. Get it, girl!

If you follow Jenna Jameson on Instagram, you'll know that she is a loyal follower of the keto diet. She's lost 80 pounds on keto, but she's also been real about it...it's tough! In her latest Instagram, she revealed that she's gained 20 pounds since taking a break from keto and she's not sure if she'll continue the diet.
Jenna posted a photo that started with the captions "Confession." In her post, she said she decided to live her "best carby life" and ease up on keto for a bit.
"I’ve gained 20 pounds. Ugh. I decided to take a break from #keto and live my best carby life. The weight came back fast and furious," she wrote.
She went on to acknowledge that keeping keto is really, really hard and that she knows many other people have struggled to keep going on the diet. She said she wasn't sure if she would be continuing keto or switch to counting calories.
"I know a lot of people are quitting keto because it’s hard to maintain and after a year and a half I concur," she wrote. Not sure if I’m going to go back full force or just calorie count. What are your thoughts?"
Since Jenna has been such a big fan of keto (it's in her Insta bio and everything!) she had a ton of followers with thoughts and opinions on the diet. While some told her to stay the course and try to get back on track, others recommended their own favorite diets, while others told her not to worry about it and eat what makes her feel good.
Honestly, living your best carby life is what I aspire to every day, but you do you, Jenna!
