Jenna Dewan Hinted at Split in Instagram Posts

From Harper's BAZAAR

Last night, Channing and Jenna Dewan Tatum broke a million hearts when they announced they are separating after nearly nine years of marriage. The news came as a shock, considering the internet revered the pair as absolute #CoupleGoals and there were little rarely hints of trouble in their relationship. Dewan Tatum was even publicly wearing her wedding ring yesterday, hours before the announcement.

However, as fans are doing the digging post-separation announcement, it seems like Jenna Dewan was already dropping clues, and some of them were right on her Instagram account.

As Cosmopolitan.com points out, she shared this Rumi quote two weeks ago about taking in a moment "before it's gone" two weeks ago.

And she posted this quote about awareness just last week. "Life doesn’t just 'happen' to you," she wrote in the caption.

Dewan Tatum was also mentioned not having a "perfect" life or marriage in an interview with Health in February. When asked how she and Channing keep their marriage "solid," the actress and dancer replied:

"When people say you guys have such a perfect life, I want to scream and tell them no one’s perfect. I think there are such things as great fits. It is a great fit as long as you are growing together, and I think up until this point we’ve really grown together. Even if one starts to grow, the other catches up and vice versa. But I think a couple needs to be conscious and to want to do the work and be willing to look at the parts of you that need work. Both of us have been pretty aware and willing to do that. We’ve always had the same values. But we’re not perfect! Are you kidding? We fight like other couples, we disagree about things, we have days where we don’t really like each other."

Dewan Tatum also attended the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty without Channing last month, saying he stayed home to be on "Daddy duty." Instead, she brought her friend and fellow actress, Emmanuelle Chriqui, as her date.
