Jenna Bush Hager

If Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb have a favorite child, the world will never know—because the Today show co-hosts refused to rank their kids on live TV. The former first daughter justified her decision, joking that her children already "need therapy."

On the Tuesday, Dec. 12 episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, the co-hosts discussed a game Seth Meyers plays on his show, called Truth or Drink. During the latest round of the bit, Dua Lipa asked the late-night host to rank his children from favorite to least favorite—and although he declined to say who it is (therefore taking a shot), he noted he does have a favorite.

“Don’t you like how funny our producers are?” Bush Hager, 42, quipped, after she and Kotb finished watched the video featuring Meyers.

Kotb, 59, added, “They thought we were going to rank our children."

"Guess what y'all. They already need their therapy. We're not going to add to it," Bush Hager joked. "By the way, I honestly don't feel like I have one."

Bush Hager, shares two daughters, Mila, 10, and Poppy, 8, and one son, Hal, 4, with her husband, Henry Hager.

For the record, Kotb doesn't have a favorite child, either, the co-host shared during the segment. She has two daughters, Haley, 6, and Hope, 4, whom she adopted in 2017 and 2019, respectively.

"I feel like different days, I have a different one," Bush Hager explained. "Whoever's nicest to me. Whoever's being nicer on that day."

That sounds like a solid ranking system to us! Kudos to Bush Hager and Kotb for expertly dodging such a loaded question on live television.
