As the old adage goes, the show must go on. Jenna Bush Hager experienced this recently, thanks to an unexpected incident on the Today show.

In a series of images uploaded on the daytime TV host's TikTok, Jenna clued fans into an unforeseen wardrobe malfunction ahead of taping. The photos showed her walking toward the news desk alongside Hoda Kotb, when the heel of her shoe suddenly snapped. Instead of getting upset by what occurred, Jenna kept her cool by laughing about it. What's more, she picked up her shoe and put it back on before continuing her entrance.

"POV: It's 10:00 a.m. and your shoe decides to malfunction... on live TV 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️," the caption read across the pictures on May 5.

While the mishap didn't seem to affect the upcoming Love Comes First author too much, fans loved seeing her post about it on social media. They not only shared their sentiments on the subject, but they enjoyed how unscripted it felt.

"Ahhhhhhh gotta love these moments 🥰🥰🥰," one person wrote in the TikTok comments section. "You remind me so much of myself... 😆 except I 'm not broadcasted. But if I were, I could make A LOT of money 😅🤣," a different follower jested. "Let's normalize not wearing heels," another implored.

Although a wardrobe malfunction is something no one likes to deal with, Jenna handled the situation like a pro. As some folks may know, this isn't the only time she has needed to fix her clothing during an unexpected moment.

Back in April 2022, she regaled how she and sister Barbara Bush were promoting their children's book The Superpower Sisterhood when the middle part of her zipper suddenly broke at a Texas rest stop. Luckily, a woman had a pair of pliers in her car and proceeded to help her out.

"You know, sisterhood looks like a lot of different things," Jenna said at the time. "But one thing you may not notice about sisterhood is that sometimes, they can help you out even in the biggest pinches."
