Jelly Roll has undergone quite the weight loss transformation, with the country music star telling People that he has lost a jaw-dropping 70 lbs, with the intention of losing about 100 more before he goes on tour. Wow!

The “Wild Ones” singer revealed that he has already lost 70 lbs by working hard and switching up his diet and lifestyle, while confessing that the physical transformation has not only made him look good, but also feel good too!

Jelly Roll Talks About His 70-Lb Weight Loss

"I'm probably down 70-something pounds," the 39-year-old musician – real name Jason Bradley DeFord – told the pub, before revealing some of his weight loss secrets to People's readers.

"I'm doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week," he began. "I'm doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day," he continued, adding: "I'm eating healthy right now." Eating right and working out seem to be working wonders for the musician!

"I feel really good," the "Need a Favor" hitmaker continued, before saying that he intends to shed even more pounds before he goes on tour. "I was thinking, I plan on losing another 100, 100-and-something [pounds.] If I feel this good down this weight, man, I can only imagine what I'm going to feel like by the time I go on tour," he added.

Jelly Roll's Plans For 2024

The two-time CMT Music Award winner will be putting his physical fitness to the test in the 2 Bears 5K with Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on May 7th.

"I don't know if 'running' is going to be the word, but I'm definitely going to get the 3.1 miles done — probably a brisk power walk," he previously told People about his participation in the event. "My goal is to be able to do a 15-minute mile," he added at the time.

He will then be performing at a few music festivals throughout the summer before embarking on his highly-anticipated Beautifully Broken Tour in August, where he will also be joined by musicians Warren Zeiders and Alexandra Kay. And he's super-excited to connect with his fans when he goes on tour too!

"I'm looking forward to being able to show them my gratitude in person," he said, according to People. "I've always said this and I mean it, man, I know my music touches people different," he continued. "My songs aren't something you listen to by the pool on a Saturday. My music's something you listen to that really gets you through something, and it means so much to stand in front of them and meet as many of them as I can every night. I wish I could have lunch with anybody my songs ever helped."
