In the third installment of Jeff Wittek's docuseries, which dropped on Monday, the YouTuber explores the aftermath of his life-threatening accident that left him with torn ligaments in his leg, a broken foot, broken hip, shattered skull, and shattered eye socket.

The video starts with Jeff in the hospital. David Dobrik, who was driving the excavator that Jeff was riding when he had his accident, came to visit Jeff not long after he was admitted. David was dressed like the Joker, by request of Jeff, who said he felt like Two-Face from The Dark Night because of his injuries.

While David was there to take Jeff home from the hospital, he was allegedly missing in the months following as Jeff continued to recover and began to grapple with the accident.

"I felt stupid that I even got myself in that situation and I even allowed somebody to have control of my life," Jeff said. "I've played this out over and over again. I'm in this by myself now. I'm the one who has to deal with this injury."

In the video, Jeff doesn’t place blame on anyone for what happened. "Sh*t happens," Jeff said. "Sh*t doesn't always go as planned, but this was not my fault. I didn't sign up to swing around an excavator at 60 miles per hour. David, he didn't sign up to nearly kill his friend and nearly lose everything that he's worked for. Nobody asked for this."

As he continued to recover, though, Jeff admitted that it was hard to see David's photo everywhere. He explained that he would watch David's Instagram stories and see him "being praised for something that he accomplished that week." Meanwhile, "I'm sitting here in my house, in the worst place I've ever been, thinking I'm never going to get back to where I was at," Jeff said. "It made me resent [David], it made me resent seeing his face, it made me not want to go online. It made me not want to open up YouTube. It would just put me in a bad place."

Later in the video, Vlog Squad member Nick Antonyan aka Jonah meets with Jeff and tell hims that David didn't know what to do to be there for Jeff, to which Jeff responds, "All he had to do was come check on me, talk to me man-to-man in person and that's it."

In the teaser for the next episode, we see David and Jeff finally sit down together. "I feel weird because we haven't talked in the past month," Jeff says to him, though the pair is still seemingly able to laugh together.

As of now, David has not commented on the video series.
