Jeff Bridges Runs from the Law in FX's 'The Old Man'

FX has just released the first trailer for its adaptation of Thomas Perry's The Old Man, pitting Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges and Golden Globes winner John Lithgow head to head. Bridges takes on the lead role of Dan Chase, a former CIA operative that has since disappeared and now lives completely off the grid. After years of hiding, his past has finally caught up to him, with an assassin attempting to kill him. Realizing that he's being hunted, Bridges goes on the run, fighting his way out for survival while he's chased down by Lithgow's Harold Harper, an assistant director at the FBI who shares history with him.

Joining the two esteemed actors will be Alia Shawkat, E.J. Bonilla, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Amy Brenneman, Bill Heck, Leem Lubany, and Pej Vehdat. Johnathan E. Steinberg and Robert Levine both serve as writers for the show while Warren Littlefield, Steinberg, Levine, San Shotz, Bridges, David Schiff, and John Watts are all on board as executive producers.

For those interested, The Old Man will arrive on Hulu on June 16.

Elsewhere in entertainment, the trailer for season three of The Boys is finally here.
