From Cosmopolitan

Jed Wyatt is here for the wrong reasons. We all know this. He straight up told Hannah that he came on the show to snag a platform for his music. (He also apparently had a girlfriend when he went on the show, but that's all played out off-screen.) Somehow, he was able to finagle his way out of this mess by pulling the, "but I actually fell for you" card, but…does he, really? Has Jed really in love or is he still just trying to milk this spotlight? To figure it out, I spoke to body language analyst Blanca Cobb, and apparently, his body language proves that this is all one big charade.

So, remember when Jed brought Hannah to the recording studio during his hometown date? TBH, this moment really cemented the whole "here for the wrong reasons" thing, because he was taking yet another moment to grab a guitar and sing in front of a camera. But that's not the only reason this scene felt so icky. Take a look.

According to Blanca, the interaction feels really fake. "The way they're swaying to the music...they're swinging to a different rhythm," she points out. "It looks a little stiff how they're swaying side by side. In my opinion, that's acting."

Fair point. This studio scene was super awkward. When you analyze the hug, it gets even worse.

"The camera focuses in on how he was embracing her with his hands. His hands were clenched and tight. Why are they so tight?” Blanca says this is not genuine at all.

“Normally, when you bring somebody close to you, then you let up, or you let your hands relax. Your palms are usually touching their lower back," Blanca says. So...why the tight hands? "It could be that you're not really into somebody, you're just going through the motions. It won't be as natural. It looks more stiff or forced."

Sorry, let me just repeat that one more time. Blanca says that based on Jed's awkward hug, it looks like he's just "going through the motions." I literally cannot think of a more accurate phrase to describe someone who showed up on a reality show to advance their music career under the guise of finding love. Send him home, Hannah!
