We've been watching The Bachelor and The Bachelorette for what feels like centuries (fine, maybe since Sean Lowe's season, which was lit-uh-ra-lly decades ago, right?), but we can't remember any contestant ever pulling what Jed Wyatt just did.

On his lovely, if boring, one-on-one date with Hannah B., they did the standard run-and-jump embrace, they performed their obligatory Halo Top promotional duties, and they "played" basketball with a couple of Boston Celtics. Cute, fun, snooze. But at their li'l dinner later on, studly Jed decided to get honest. But not in the childhood tragedy or family illness or creepy Cam kind of way. Instead, this human man stated, on live television, that he only went on The Bachelorette...to promote his music career.

Classic Bachelor etiquette calls for pearl-clutching. Never, under any circumstances, even if you are totally just there for more Insta followers and Fab Fit Fun monies, do you say ~out loud~ that you went on reality television for fame.

And yet! Hannah B...LOVED it. She thanked Jed for his honesty, made out with him some more, and gave him a rose. And Twitter, typically ready to throw mountains of hate toward any whiff of wrong-reasons behavior...LOVED it.

Ironically, Hannah B. is supremely pissed to hear a rumor (from Luke P. of all people!) that Luke S. talks a lot about his burgeoning tequila company. In fact, she's "irritated." But the heart wants what the heart wants, and what Hannah B.'s heart wants is...sexy dancing. Giddyup, girl.
