Jay-Z on the Most Beautiful Thing Blue Has Said
Jay-Z sat down with David Letterman for Letterman's new Netflix show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. While the entire episode - which drops this Friday - is hopefully filled with Beyoncé bombshells (OK, fine, probably it won't be), the below trailer promises at least some insight into the Carters' personal lives.
Specifically, Jay talks Blue Ivy and how she broke his heart with her beautiful eloquent 6-year-old truth recently.
He remembers how he had to nudge bb Blue to get in the car because they had to get her to school, but...
I hear a little voice: 'Dad?' I turn around and she goes 'I didn't like when you told me to get in the car the way you told me.' She's six! 'It hurt my feelings.' And I was like, 'That is the most beautiful thing you've ever said to me!'
Goodness, can you imagine hearing that from Blue herself? I would weep. I am weeping. I need to know more. Also, are Sir and Rumi speaking yet? Do they also change the world with their words? Pls @Jay, lmk when you get a chance. Thx!!!
