Select Custom Solutions just issued a voluntary recall on their Jay Robb brand Vanilla Flavored Egg White Protein. This is due to possible fragments of broken hard plastic in the packaging.

The recalled bags of protein powder are 24-oz. retail pouches that are stamped with lot code “a. 23080-2C2” and time “09:00 to 12:00.” The affected products were distributed to several retailers nationwide, and Select Custom Solutions is urging customers to discontinue using the product and discard it immediately.

There have been no injuries reported due to this recall, and the risk to consumers is reportedly low. However, if you are experiencing health concerns that may be related to this recall, contact your health care provider as soon as possible.

For questions regarding the recall and how to receive a refund, contact Select Custom Solutions’ information hotline at 1-800-359-2345 Mondays through Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST. You can also e-mail the company at info@select-cs.com.
