Jason Momoa Wore a Tank Top During the Golden Globes Ceremony

From Harper's BAZAAR

  • Jason Momoa was spotted wearing a tank top, with no suit jacket, during the Golden Globes ceremony.

  • It appears he draped the coat over wife Lisa Bonet during the show.

Jacket: Off. Muscles: Out.

Jason Momoa, a fine specimen of man, arrived to the 2020 Golden Globes wearing a deep green velvet Tom Ford coat (which matched with wife Lisa Bonet's Fendi gown), but midway through the ceremony, it was gone. In its place instead was a simple black tank top, which nicely coordinated with his black Valentino slacks.

Momoa was spotted post-wardrobe change as Succession star Brian Cox made his way to the stage to collect his trophy for Best Actor in a Drama Television Series. While Cox walked through the tables of celebrities in The Beverly Hilton Hotel, the Aquaman actor appeared onscreen in his fitted tank, muscles out and shining as if someone had just conveniently sprayed them with body oil.

But what exactly happened to the actor's velvety jacket? It appears Lisa Bonet was wearing it over her dress (she sits to his right in the footage), which means Momoa must've removed his coat and draped it over his wife to keep her warm.

By the time he hit the stage with step-daughter Zoë Kravitz, however, Momoa's Tom Ford coat was back in place.

The actor's quick change might've only appeared onscreen for a few moments, but that was more than enough to catch fans' eyes on Twitter. The reactions to the stripped-down ensemble was the equivalent of the 👀 emoji.

If we can't have Jason Momoa's Fendi scrunchie this awards season, we'll settle for his tank.
