Jason Momoa Says He’s Losing This Personality Trait ‘Daily’ Now That His Kids Are in High School

Jason Momoa is officially the dad of two teens, and in a recent interview, he talked about how he’s losing this trait of his daily in the eyes of his two kiddos (and every parent of teens can relate).

In a recent interview with People, Momoa talked about how his kids are teens now, and apparently don’t see him as super cool.

“I spent a lot of time with them when they were younger, which is super important. Then they traveled with me quite a bit. But now, going into high school, they’ve got their friends and stuff,” he said. “They still like me, which is good. I’m probably losing cool factor daily.”

If Momoa isn’t seen as a cool parent, then where’s the hope for the rest of us?! Just kidding, that’s what being a parent to teens is like, your kids don’t really see you as cool, even if you’re one of the coolest people in Hollywood like Momoa.

In the same interview, he added how excited he is to spend his break with his kids, saying how much he loves getting to “be a Dad.”

“I’m really excited to see my babies soon — a week for spring break. I’m dying to see my kids. I get to be Dad,” he said. “I’m excited for them to get through high school, and then maybe they’ll come out, and I’ll just help them with their lives.”

In case you didn’t know: Momoa and his ex-wife Lisa Bonet share two children together named Lola Iolani, 16, and Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo, 15.
