Jason Momoa is getting adventurous in honor of his personal new year.

The Fast X actor took to Instagram with some footage from his birthday on August 1, where he stepped outside during heavy snowfall—shirtless.

"Happy birthday to me," he said in the opening of the video. "What? What the hell's going on, J?" he continued, panning the camera around to show his snowy environment and seemingly reveling at the cold weather.

"August 1st, never in my life—44 years—did I ever get in a hot tub..." the Aquaman star trailed off, before excitedly yelling, "It's snowing, baby!" and letting out an additional yelp.

He later confirmed in a separate clip that his elation is because he's "never had a birthday" in the snow. The Hawaii-native is, obviously, used to a more tropical setting during this time of year (and likely, year-round).

It is unclear where exactly Momoa is, but according to his commentary in a following social media upload, and from the looks of the subsequent comments from followers, the actor is currently visiting Queenstown, located in the South Island of New Zealand.

In the comment section, fans (much like Momoa) were also surprised to learn that the Southern Hemisphere is currently experiencing its winter season.

"Really, it's snowing, what place is this, that you are, snowing in August??? million Kisses 💋 💋 💋! Again HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ADORE YOU! 💖," one said, while another suggested, "Snow and hot tubs go together like fries and milkshakes. Happy birthday bro!"

"Yo reminder for half of the world summer and winter are switched it’s not a mystery," a third added, in part.

Someone else comically campaigned, "Bring it back to TEXAS… cause our asses are burning in hell right now lit 🔥 😂."

Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger, who hails from the same hometown of Honolulu, popped in with well wishes for the Braven actor: "Hau oli la hanau braddah. Love you ❤️🙏🏽."

We're hoping Jason enjoyed the change of scenery for his birthday festivities this year!
