Jason Momoa’s Cause That ‘Fuels’ Him Is Inspiring Kids to Take On This Environmental Mindset

Ever since Jason Momoa gained a major platform, he has used his voice to shine a light on everything and anything to do with preserving the environment. He’s worked on documentaries, different campaigns and helped out with charities, but he recently told people that the cause that fuels him the most is trying to teach his kids and their generation about the importance of saving the environment.
While at the premiere of Common Ground, he spoke to People about how he wants to teach his kids and their friends about the “importance of living an environmentally-conscious lifestyle.”

He said, “I feel like I’m doing it, and I’m almost force-feeding my children too much. I took it to their school, and we played [Common Ground] at their school, and it was fun to watch all their friends watching it, but I’m like, secretly, I wish they even took it more to the next level.”
“I mean, I want the next generation to take it even more,” he added. “And they are, some people are, but you just got to deal with what feels good to you, and it just fuels me. That’s what I’m fighting for.”
Common Ground is a documentary that follows farmers trying to bring soil health around the world. Many stars appeared in it to help spread its message such as Momoa, Donald Glover, Laura Dern, Rosario Dawson, Ian Somerhalder, and more.
Many stars have gone on to talk about the importance of working towards environmental justice, preservation, and more, with Momoa being one of the top celebrities to do so. His comments show that while he’ll do everything he can to help save the environment, his passions now live with trying to inspire the next generation and the generation after that to care about the environment, and we truly applaud him for that.
