Jason Oppenheim is an original cast member on Selling Sunset, Netflix’s reality TV series following the personal and professional lives of real estate agents at the Oppenheim Group, a high-end real estate brokerage firm in Los Angeles, which was co-founded by Jason and his brother, Brett Oppneheim.

Are Jason and Marie-Lou still together? The answer is no. Jason Oppenheim and Marie-Lou Nurk are not still together after filming ended on Selling Sunset Season 7. Jason confirmed he and Marie-Lou had broken up after 10 months of dating in an Instagram Story in May 2023.

“While we still love and care about each other very much the distance between us has proven to be too great a challenge to overcome,” Jason captioned a photo of him and Marie-Lou looking off into the sunset. He continued, “We remain close friends and continue to talk often and support each other and we want the very best for one another. We thank everyone for their support throughout our relationship.”

Marie-Lou also confirmed she had a new boyfriend after her breakup with Jason in an Instagram post in August 2023 of her and another man walking together in St. Tropez, France. The post also included a screenshot of a text message that read, “you’re my favourite secret.”

Selling Sunset Season 7 saw Marie-Lou’s feud with Jason’s ex-girlfriend and Selling Sunset co-star, Chrishell Stause, whom he split from in December 2021 due to their differences over having children. In November 2023, Chrishell responded to a clip of her and Marie-Lou’s fight on Selling Sunset in an Instagram Story, defending herself against claims she was “mean.” “If you say I am mean to you, apparently you get a storyline on Selling Sunset,” Chrishell wrote before explaining her lunch with Marie-Lou. “THREE people did it this season and you guys be the judge. Funny that I never once had an issue with any of these people when cameras weren’t around. (Remember when I posted the four of us to lunch in Australia. All smiles, nice time?) The NEXT time I saw her was this lunch. ON camera. If she said I was nice to her, do you think she would have gotten a storyline & invited to the reunion…. NO.”

Jason lives in Los Angeles, while Marie-Lou split her time between Paris and Los Angeles. “The truth is, we both knew from the beginning that I would have to move back because of my job, friends, and family being here,” she wrote in her response to a question about Jason’s reaction to her moving back to France. “Long distance relationships can be tough, but we’re both committed to making it work. We make sure to communicate regularly and make time for each other despite the distance.”

She continued, “While it’s not always easy, we both believe that our love is worth the effort. I’m grateful to have such a supportive partner who understands my goals and passions. At the end of the day, it’s important to follow your heart and pursue your dreams, even if it means taking risks and facing challenges.”
