Jason Kelce & Kylie Kelce Reveal Their Imaginative Playroom For Their 3 Daughters: ‘We Are Big Fans of Green’

Playtime is important — a professional football player would know! Jason Kelce, center for the Philadelphia Eagles, and his wife Kylie Kelce are prioritizing fun with their three daughters, Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 11 months, which is why they recently redesigned their playroom with the help of Pottery Barn Kids. The bright, imaginative space is guaranteed to foster creativity in their girls — with plenty of Eagles green to liven it up!

“Family is everything. It’s really important to have this space feel cozy and comfortable,” Kylie said in a statement about the playroom redesign. “We feel like the items are made with such great quality, whether it’s storage, a book shelf, something great that will look amazing in the space but also be kid durable.”
Their playroom has gorgeous open windows to let in plenty of light when the girls play in their sage green toddler kitchen, set up next to a cabinet with play food. There is a table with a rolling pad of paper for drawing, set up on a rug with pretty trees. A cabinet/bookshelf/drawer storage solution holds toys, games and other activities, as well as books set up in rainbow order! A painting easel and life-size giraffe stuffie complete the look.

Kylie added, “Shockingly enough we are big fans of green. This beautiful sage was able to be incorporated both in the kids’ kitchen, accent wall, and also in this awesome tree rug.”

In photos of the playroom taken by Pottery Barn Kids, the Kelces are super hands-on with their daughters. In one, Jason sets up the drawing table for Elli and Wyatt, and in another, Kylie plays in the pretend kitchen with Bennett. Jason also has a tea party with Elli, and the whole family snuggles up to read on the couch together. They are so adorable, our hearts can’t take it!

In an interview with PEOPLE, Kylie said, “Jason is emotionally and mentally present for his girls, and I think that’s so important.” She added, “The memories that we’re creating now are things that we’ll talk about later, the same way our parents tell stories about us now. We hope that this space allows for the girls to be a good team together.”

Body Positivity
Earlier this week, the high school varsity field hockey coach talked to Good Morning America about how she talks to her daughters about her body. “I think it’s important to model that positive body talk about yourself because then they are taking that away from what you’re doing,” she said while promoting her partnership with Dove and their campaign to raise self-esteem among young athletes.
“We’re making it a point now to emphasize a positive tone when we talk about anything body-wise,” she continued. “Like our one daughter will sort of rub her belly and I’m like, ‘Oh, that is the most beautiful belly I’ve ever seen.’”
We can only dream of having a playroom for our kids as beautiful as Jason and Kylie have, but we can follow their example by teaching our kids about loving themselves — and committing to staying present with our kids during playtime and beyond.
