Jason and Travis Kelce

As Travis Kelce prepares with the Kansas City Chiefs to take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, older brother and fellow football player Jason spoke about how proud he is watching Travis play.

While at the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl Games, Jason talked with reporter Cameron Wolfe about the upcoming game, and he discussed how he feels watching a close family member play football.

"Whenever you're watching a loved one compete, there's a very prideful feeling that you have," Jason explained. "That's very different than competing for your own, or watching a game regularly."

The 36-year-old then got a little bittersweet, saying, "Obviously, my brother and I love each other very much. We're cherishing these moments because we know eventually they'll be gone."

But he succinctly concluded that he is "looking forward to being down there and cheering him on" at the game in Las Vegas. Given Jason's many viral moments from his past appearances in the audience at his brother's games, fans are probably just as excited to see him at the Super Bowl.

In fact, his shirtless moment at the game between the Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills was so popular that Funko Pop! made a figurine of Jason for fans, with proceeds going to Bills player Josh Allen's charity.

Jason also shared some comments on the possibility of his retirement from the NFL, reiterating his efforts to "cherish" all of the moments he has as a player and with his teammates and fans, adding, "You learn not to take that for granted the closer it is to that being done."

The Philadelphia Eagles center has not officially confirmed whether or not this will be his last year in the NFL, though there were reports that Jason shared his plans with his teammates after the Eagles' last playoff game.
