The Philadelphia Eagles are already off to a great season with a 2–0 start, but all anyone seems to want to ask Jason Kelce about are the dating rumors between his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and international pop star Taylor Swift. And on Wednesday morning, the elder Kelce brother appeared to finally deliver.

The 35-year-old center was calling in to Philadelphia's WIP Morning Show when he was asked yet again whether the dating rumors were true. And while his answer may not exactly guarantee that this will be the last time the subject is brought up in an interview, based on audio shared by the show, he initially seemed to confirm.

"Tony kind of blindsided me with that question on Thursday night," Kelce said, referring to Thursday Night Football host Tony Gonzalez. "And I don't know, it's hard to answer because I don't really know what's happening in Travis's love life and I try to like keep his business his business and stay out off that world."

"But having said that man, I think they're doing great and I think it's all 100 percent true," he added. "I hope this thing goes a mile."

However, a later report shared by People suggests that the clip may have been edited misleadingly, and that Kelce added: "No, I'm joking, I don't know what's happening." Audio of that portion of the interview has yet to surface.

In any case, talk about putting your dreams out into the world. Back in July on the Kelce brothers podcast, the 33-year-old first talked about attempting to give Swift, also 33, his phone number during the Kansas City stop in her Eras tour. At the time, Swift had recently broken off her short-lived romance with 1975 frontman Matt Healy.

"I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Kelce explained at the time. "So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her."

After his missed connection was widely reported by the media, it seems as though Swift's people must have reached out to his people. Jason's latest comments are unlikely to stop the rumors from swirling anytime soon.
