Jason Derulo Leaves Server Tip Large Enough to Cover Semester of College

The server shared their encounter with Derulo in a now-viral video.

Jason Derulo recently visited Omaha, Nebraska, with his family and stopped by a little place called Charleston's Restaurant for some food.

After finishing the meal, Derulo, 33, made his server's day by leaving a huge tip, one big enough to pay for a semester of his college tuition.

The server, a man named Jordan Schaffer, shared the encounter in a recent video posted on TikTok, which included an image of the check itself and revealed that Derulo added a $5,000 tip on top of a $795 bill.

In the caption on TikTok, Schaffer wrote, "Serving @jasonderulo and his family is something I’ll never forget I cannot say thank you enough."
