Jason Aldean Opens Up About the Deadly Mass Shooting During His Las Vegas Concert
At least 50 people were killed Sunday night after a gunman opened fire on the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. The gunman started shooting from across, the street, on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino; he died in the hotel room after officers used explosives to get inside.
Country star Jason Aldean was on stage when the gunfire started; he stopped playing and the crowd grew quiet as everyone tried to make sense of what happened. As more shots rang out, victims fell to the ground, others hid, and some others tried to flee; Aldean quickly ran off stage. The incident was the deadliest mass shooting in U.S history.
