January Jones and Kiernan Shipka Shared the Cutest Golden Globes Throwback Moment

Is 2021 the year of the Golden Globes rewear? Last week, actress and activist Jane Fonda announced she'd be sporting a gown she's worn before for her appearance at the awards, as part of her commitment to not buying new clothing. Now it appears she's not the only one embracing a throwback look.

In a playful Instagram post before the ceremony, actress January Jones donned the same red Versace gown that she first wore to the Golden Globes back in 2011, as well as a photo from that big night. "10yrs later and it still, (sorta), fits," she wrote in the caption.

Not to be outdone by her onscreen mom, fellow Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka shared a follow-up to Jones's Instagram: a photo of the two of them together at the 2011 awards, alongside a picture of herself wearing the same burgundy velvet number with lace collar from that night. "hey @januaryjones I heard we’re putting on our Golden Globes looks from 10 years ago," Shipka wrote in her caption.

The sweet images not only served as a reminder of how stunning these two fashionable starlets are, but also of how far they've come in the last ten years—especially Shipka, who has gone from a charming 11-year-old to a poised young woman leading Netflix's hit series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

We don't know about you, but we're suddenly feeling the urge for a Mad Men rewatch.
