  • January Jones just took to Instagram to post a fashion-forward (yet super casual) snap.

  • In the photo, the 44-year-old actress is rocking a black lace bodysuit paired with ripped black jeans. And she looks absolutely phenomenal: I mean, just look at those abs!

  • But how exactly does she stay in such killer shape? Well, for starters, she is a major Lagree Pilates devotee. Also: She swears by celery juice.

January Jones is serving looks in a high school gym near you.

The Mad Men actress posted a photo to Instagram with the caption, “Went to a high school basketball game this wknd. The parents section was almost as lit as the student section 🎉”

The 44-year-old actress sported a pair of distressed black jeans paired with a low-cut and lacy bodysuit that I’m going to need in my closet ASAP. She wore a cropped denim jacket to round out the look. And damn, everything about her looks beyond fit.

Naturally, people were quick to praise January for her outfit and toned-looking body. “It’s a wonder anyone watched the game. Looking spectacular 😍,” wrote one fan on Instagram. “Goddess 😍,” wrote another.

But how exactly did she get that fit? Well, working out has never come naturally to January, whose father was a physical trainer. As a way of rebelling she refused to hit the gym with him in her 20s and 30s, she told Shape. Even when she was filming X-Men, January says she would lie and tell filmmakers she was working out in her hotel room. “Actually I was watching Friends and having full tea service,” she told the magazine. (Sounds like my kind of afternoon, TBH.)

After she had her son Xander, however, January shifted focus. She wanted to be stronger, mostly because she was carrying a toddler everywhere. So she started taking barre classes and private Pilates lessons. Now she does Lagree Pilates, which is a bit of a slower, more controlled pace compared with the quickness of regular Pilates.

“I’ve been doing it two to four times a week for the past year now, and I’ve gained weight because I’ve put on muscle. I’ve gone up a size in clothes, but I feel like I look better naked,” January said.

As far as nutrition goes, January says, “I don’t deprive myself of anything. If I want something—steak, a bagel—I’ll eat it. There’s no diet or strict set of rules.”

She does stick to a glass of celery juice every day, though, which she says has improved her energy, digestion, skin, and sleep. After her celery juice, she has coffee, vitamins, and a banana to-go before Lagree. Then she eats a MacroBar afterward. And lunch at around 11:30 a.m. is usually soup, salad, or a sandwich, January told the magazine.

“I love to cook for my son and me. For dinner, we like salmon with french fries, and we make pasta frequently. We try to have lots of green veggies. We eat organic because I worry a lot about that for my kid,” January told the magazine. “No antibiotics or hormones in meats is really important to me, and so is eating sustainable fish. I don’t want to be that annoying person in the restaurant who’s like, ‘Where’s this fish from?’ But I do it anyway.”

An all-natural, relatable queen.
