There are few celebrities that have a signature a hairstyle as distinct as Jane Fonda. Besides maybe Jennifer Anniston, Anna Wintour, Kris Jenner, and Ariana Grande; very few people have such a strong association with a single look as Fonda does. When you think of the actor, you're probably also thinking of her impeccably layered and blown-out pixie cut with its bright silver strands and gorgeous shine. It's a look that she seems to have had for eternity—or at least for the past decade—and has appeared in all her recent projects, from Grace and Frankie to 80 For Brady.

However, in Fonda's most recent appearance as a speaker at the High-Level Event for Nature & People: From Ambition to Action—a United Nations program bringing together government and non-government forces for environmental change—she showed up with a brand new bob that wasn't the one we're used to seeing. But of course, it's just as good.

Instead of her bright gray bixie that featured bouncy eyebrow-length bangs, the shorter pieces formed a middle part with the rest of her hair and flowed into loose waves that continued throughout her head.

Her hair also appeared to be a little longer than her previous look, traveling just to the top of her shoulders. The grey also was a tad darker than her nearly-pearlescent past look. The overall effect was softer and more retro than the pristine, crisp stylization we're used to seeing.

Fonda paired her new hair with business-chic makeup and attire. She wore a black suit, with the jacket's flipped-up lapel layered over a matching shirt. She added a gold chain necklace, matching bracelet, and a few coordinating rings for some bling.

For makeup, she kept it simple, wearing a bright pink lip, a few coats of mascara, and a simple hazy smoky eye to add some drama to the look.
