  • Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin just announced a Grace and Frankie reunion.

  • The announcement was made in the form of a hilarious FaceTime call between the two characters.

  • The reunion is happening on October 28. Read on for ticket information.

Although Grace and Frankie just ended, true fans already miss the sweet, sweet sound of hilarious bickering between our favorite besties, Grace Hanson and Frankie Bergstein. But we’re in luck, because the pair are getting back together. On October 22, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin announced a Grace and Frankie reunion and live table read while giving us a taste of the dialogue we love—over FaceTime, no less.

In the clip posted to Twitter, Fonda as Grace and Tomlin as Frankie attempted to video chat. “I think we’re on mute,” Fonda said. And Tomlin quipped back: “How can I put just you on mute?”

The struggle continued with Fonda saying their video turned off. Tomlin corrected her: “Your video is off. I look really good.”

Before proceeding to their announcement, Tomlin asked Fonda if she had anything in her teeth, to which Fonda replied: “Your entire breakfast, Frankie.”

The pair went on to announce that the Grace and Frankie Live Reunion table read will take place Friday, October 28 as a fundraiser to support climate change champions running for office. Tickets and more information are available on the fundraiser’s website. According to the announcement, the whole Grace and Frankie cast is getting back together for the event, plus “a whole lot of celebrity friends.”

Fans were so excited by the news. “I wouldn’t miss this for the world!!!!” one person replied. “I’m already crying over it!!” another added. “Love this! Love them!” someone else wrote.

Fonda has been an outspoken activist most of her life, and has narrowed her focus to climate change over the last several years, hosting regular Fire Drill Friday demonstrations in Washington D.C. Those efforts persist in spite of the actress’ recent cancer diagnosis, which she gave fans a health update on last week. She revealed she was diagnosed with “very treatable” non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in September.

“It fills me with hope and inspiration and my lymphoma is not going to stop me,” she wrote in a recent blog post. She’s undergoing treatment and, clearly, is still working away.

If you don’t catch her at the reunion, you can see her and Tomlin in one of their latest films, Moving On and 80 for Brady.
