April showers have given way to the requisite May showers, and guests clutched their chicest umbrellas on their way to Alexandre Birman’s Madison Avenue flagship last night. The Brazilian footwear designer opened his latest boutique, an elegantly appointed space on 75th street and Madison Avenue, bringing out an equally distinguished crew. The evening, co-hosted by friends (and fans) Jamie Tisch and Jessica Seinfeld, hosted Laura Love, Nell Diamond, Caroline Trentini, Hilary Rhoda, as well as industry icons Carlos Souza, and Gucci Westman.

After guests took in the slick boutique and checked out the brass and wood finishes, they migrated two blocks north to the Mark Hotel, where guests including Allison Sarofim, Marjorie Gubelmann, and Vogue’s Virginia Smith enjoyed a delectable dinner and scintillating conversation.
