The nostalgia TV wave is still going strong. TMZ reported today that Britney Spears's younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, is in talks with Nickelodeon to reboot the series that made her a child star, Zoey 101. She'd reprise her role as the titular character.

Sources connected with the network told TMZ that Jamie has been talking with channel executives about the show and is in with some key changes. The new Zoey 101 would follow Zoey's life at 28, as an adult in Southern California with kids of her own. This show, as TMZ described it, would be "Zoey with an edge." It's not clear at this point who from the original series would return.

This is not Jamie's only project. She's also been cast in Netflix's Sweet Magnolias series. When Netflix announced the news on July 1, the streaming company shared that Jamie would be playing "Noreen Fitzgibbons, a young woman who is determined to build a new life for herself after a series of bad choices." Sweet Magnolias is being adapted from the novel series by Sherryl Woods.

Jamie, who's 28, has not said anything about the Zoey news yet. But she did express her excitement earlier this month with Netflix's casting her in Sweet Magnolias. "Mama’s going back to work y’all 🎬🎥," she wrote on her Instagram. "Can’t wait for y’all to meet “Noreen”!! I fell in love with this story, and so excited I get to be a part of telling it ❤️❤️ #SweetMagnolias."

The actress also shared a look at her hair transformation for that role too:
