Jamie Lynn Spears Just Gave the "Zoey 101" Theme Song a Major Update

Are you ready? Jamie Lynn Spears just released an update of the Zoey 101 theme song, "Follow Me," ahead of the show's reboot and it's going to give you all the feels. The song's release is just the first part of a lot of Zoey 101 fun that is about to come our way so get ready to dive right back in to the world of PCA.

"Follow Me" features Jamie Lynn and DJ Chantel Jeffries. The song is very similar to the original version, just with some updated lyrics and a new beat to bring it in to 2020.

But while the lyric video was released, we have to wait a few more days to check out the new music video, which will feature a lot of your TikTok faves. The video will premiere on October 25th at a special ticketed event and October 27th worldwide. Tickets start at $20, while additional packages include VIP access and special limited edition merch.

This all comes ahead of the Zoey 101 reboot. According to Jamie Lynn, after the cast reunited on All That in July, they knew the reboot had to happen. "That's when the conversations got serious," Jamie told Nylon Magazine.

As of now, the exact details of the new show are unclear, but Jamie has some ideas. "Obviously we want to meet [Zoey] as an adult now, and I do think it should be a show for young adults," she said. "We want to do it justice for the fans that were 10 and 12 when it first aired, while also bringing in the new generation of fans. Finding that balance will be really important because we want to connect with where people are today. The conversations that we're having right now are creative. 'What is that story? What is the best way to meet Zoey today?' We don't want to just do it to do it. We want it to be good."

It could be a while until we welcome Zoey back in to our lives, but luckily, in the meantime, we have this iconic new theme song to hold us over.
