Spears shared a sweet set of pictures from the family's Easter festivities, which show the 14-year-old standing taller than her mother. In one of the photos, Maddie crouches down to be the same height as Spears.

The mother-daughter duo also shared their different sense of style: Maddie paired a cream-colored sweater with floral-printed shorts and white boots, while Spears wore a festive blue and pink plaid-patterned mini dress.

Some of the pictures also include Spears' youngest daughter Ivey, who turns five on April 12. The little one posed on the Easter Bunny's lap and participated in an egg hunt.

In an adorable video shared at the end of the Instagram carousel, Ivey reacted to finding the Easter eggs and baskets in her living room. "Oh my gosh, Momma! It's all for me!" she said in the video. Spears explained that some of the Easter goodies were for Maddie, but Ivey didn't want to share.

While Spears is very close to both of her daughters, she shares a very special bond with her firstborn.

In her memoir Things I Should Have Said, the former Zoey 101 star opened up about Maddie's near-fatal ATV accident from 2017, revealing that the family was initially told there was a slim chance of survival.

Spears also spoke about the accident to Page Six last December, giving insight into how Maddie has dealt with the traumatic incident.

"We did a lot of work, obviously, to process it and now it’s more about focusing on the positive and the fact that it is a miracle—and that is not the case for so many people," said the actress.

Spears explained that rather than looking at the date of the emotionally heavy day as the "accident anniversary," she and Maddie instead refer to it as their "miracle anniversary."
