Jamie Lee Curtis and Melanie Griffith Snap a Selfie for a Good Cause

Jamie Lee Curtis and Melanie Griffith know there's power in numbers.
The two posed side-by-side for a sweet selfie before heading out to join their fellow union actors on strike. With a fresh-faced Curtis, 64, on the left and Griffith, 65, on the right, the two were photographed smiling with their picket signs.
"TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM OF A FAIR CONTRACT WORK!" Curtis captioned the photo shared to her Instagram grid on Tuesday, July 25.
Griffith also shared the snap to her own social media page, declaring in the caption, "Making signs for FAIRNESS💫 Standing tall and together with all our fellows."

The two actresses didn't show up just to take photos, as Curtis followed up with a clip of herself in action, stapling and organizing protest signs.
"I moved on from 'tape captain' to 'staple gun captain' today @sagaftra!" Curtis wrote. "That is TOTAL BS. No captain. Just a worker amongst other workers. Fighting together for the same things. Remember when you see picket signs there is a support team that MADE THEM! #unionstrong."
The Halloween actress didn't stop there, she later shared a video of her and Grey's Anatomy alum Jason Winston George taping the picket signs to protect actors' hands.
"GENERATIONS PROTECTING FUTURE GENERATIONS," she exclaimed in the caption.
Curtis is the latest Hollywood star to join the frontlines of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Other celebs spotted supporting the ongoing strikes, include Kevin Bacon, Jeremy Allen White, Mandy Moore and Jason Sudeikis. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently stepped up in a big way as well, making a historic, seven-figure contribution to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, which helps actors in need pay their bills during the ongoing the strike.
