Jamie Foxx offered a bit of insight into how he's holding up while hospitalized with a rather pleasant update he shared on Instagram this afternoon.

The note was filled with positivity and gratitude, presumably directed at the actor's family, fans, medical staff, and all those who've shown him an outpouring of support during this difficult time.

"Appreciate all the love!!!" he exclaimed in the May 3 post, adding that he was "feeling blessed" along with including a few emojis.

Foxx also took to his Instagram Story to thank fellow TV personality Nick Cannon for stepping in and temporarily taking over his hosting role on Beat Shazam.

While Foxx's exact condition remains unknown to the public at this time, sources close to the 55-year-old actor echoed this plea: "Pray for Jamie"—a possible indication that things with the actor's health may be more complicated than they had first hoped.

As Parade previously reported, the actor suffered what his daughter Corinne Foxx described as a "medical complication" on April 11.

A week after the incident, Foxx remained in the hospital and sources told reporters it was to allow medical staff the opportunity to try and determine what led to Foxx's sudden medical emergency: "They are running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened."

In the near month since the actor was first hospitalized, his family hasn't left his side. His friends, like Cannon and actress Kerry Washington, have also sent an outpouring of support and love to the star.
