James Charles Just Trolled His Makeup Fail With the Most Hilarious Tutorial

When James Charles' accidentally put on a little too much setting powder, causing his face to glow ghostly white in a fan photo, the internet couldn't stop trolling him. Even James got in on the joke posting the best memes of his makeup mishap.

Unfortunately, not all the feedback was positive. The image caused trolls to accuse James of being an "untalented makeup artist" and James admitted that he took the hate pretty hard.

"You guys have no idea how fun it is to wake up in the morning and then [want] to cry yourself right back to sleep," he said sarcastically in a new YouTube video.

So to turn the situation into something positive, James made a spoof makeup tutorial for his new alter ego "Flashback Mary" and even changed his Twitter handle to match.

He started by recreating his now iconic powdery look and his contour is still better than mine has ever dreamt of being.

Then he moved on to recreate one of the memes that portrays him as the killer clown from the movie It.

To end the video, James explained why he decided to make the tutorial. "At this point there's been thousands of very, very funny and also very, very nasty tweets about me and honestly I'm just trying to move past it and have a good laugh out of everything," he explained.
