‘Jam’ out to 2nd annual Albertville berry festival

ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — If you are looking for a ‘berry’ good time with the family, the Strawberry Jam Festival is the pick of the basket!

Over Easy Acres farm in Albertville is set to host the second annual Strawberry Jam Festival on Saturday, May 25, from 10 a.m. through 2:30 p.m.

‘Iconic’ World War II Aircraft landing in the Rocket City!

The festival promises to be a good day of ‘old-fashioned’ family fun with live music, yard games, a children’s area, food trucks and vendors and all things strawberries!

Tickets are $25 which will give you access to the farm and all the amenities and family-grown ‘u-pick’ strawberries.

In addition to all of the ‘berrylicious’ fun, there will also be live music throughout the day.

  • 10-10:30 a.m. – ARC Idol: Marshall County ARC will perform some of their favorite songs.

  • 10:30-11:30 a.m. – FBC Pickers: Bluegrass/gospel group from First Baptist Church of Guntersville

  • 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Hard on the Chickens: 3-piece acoustic/electric band with a mix of rock, country, R&B, and blues

  • 12:30-2:30 p.m. – Overtones: a female-fronted band covering the best of rock, pop and more
