Jake Paul Ripped Off Chloe Woodard's Iconic "Who Is She" Vine

"I would say 'in the future, tag me!' but there is no future, stop using my content..."

Jake Paul allegedly copied one of Chloe Woodard's Vines, and Chloe decided not to let it slide.

Known to those on the now defunct app as "Chloe Lmao," she was responsible for a number of iconic clips that became memes and cultural staples. In particular, she's known for the "who is she" vine, in which she flips her head around and gives the camera an awkward smile. (You'd know it if you saw it, trust.) And in fact, that's the very vine that Jake tried to riff off of.

He posted to his Twitter account a re-creation of the clip, and wrote: "Don't let Vine die..." Chloe responded, saying, "Hey Jake! That's my vine! I would say 'in the future, tag me!' but there is no future, stop using my content, and do not associate with me in any way thanks." And that's where things got ugly.

Jake responded to her words with yet another re-creation of the video, but this time, he flipped his head around and gave her the middle finger. Chloe then responded to his video, saying, "I would try to recreate one of your iconic moments as a response but unfortunately they're all disgraceful events in which you were publicly shamed. So thanks for the @ king!"

The "disgraceful events" to which Chloe is likely referring to include Jake reportedly making racist comments, using the "n" word and then using an inappropriate "clickbait" image to promote a video.

Needless to say, drama has been following Jake for a little while now, and though both of their fans swarmed the comments of the exchange, it seems that many are siding with Chloe on this one. "He’s the rudest person I have ever seen I can’t believe people STAN him," one read. "I think what I’ve learned most from reading far too much of this Twitter thread is that while everyone knows who Chloe is by the movement she makes, everyone is still mixing Jake up with his brother. I think Chloe wins guys," said another. Regardless, it is not cool to riff off of other people's work without their permission.
