Jaden Smith Is Really Excited for Robert Pattinson to Be Batman

Jaden Smith is totally here for Twilight alum Robert Pattinson's newest role: Batman.

Robert made a splash recently when he was cast as the next Batman in the forthcoming The Batman, which is slated to hit theaters in two years. Robert will take on the iconic role as the Caped Crusader, Bruce Wayne, a character who has been played by actors like Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, George Clooney, and Ben Affleck, and whose crime-fighting ways are steeped into our collective consciousness.

It seems that no one is more excited about Robert’s new gig than noted Batman stan Jaden. Jaden is such a big fan of Bruce Wayne that he even made a music video about him, and in the past, he’s worn a Batman costume to important events like prom and Kim Kardashian West’s wedding.

Per JustJaredJr., Jaden told Rolling Stone that he’s thrilled about Robert as Batman. “Oh my gosh, I don’t even know what to say,” he told the magazine. “Amazing things are happening every day that you don’t even know. I don’t even know. I’m at a loss for words with how excited I am for him. It has to happen. It has to f*cking happen. He will be the best Batman. I’m losing my f*cking sh*t.”

Honestly, we can’t think of a better endorsement than that. Jaden’s passion for Batman and the Batman universe is practically legendary at this point, and it’s adorable to see how excited he is about Robert taking on the role. Robert, maybe you could return the favor and snag Jaden a part in the movie? The Batman is set to debut in June of 2021, and we’ve got a feeling Jaden will be in the front row on opening day in his Batman costume.
