Jaden Smith Laces Into Gold Archlight Sneakers for Louis Vuitton and Tyler, The Creator’s Collaboration Launch

Jaden Smith attended Louis Vuitton and Tyler, The Creator‘s intimate cocktail dinner on Thursday in Los Angeles to celebrate the brand’s spring 2024 men’s capsule collection. For the occasion, Smith donned a pair of Louis Vuitton Archlight sneakers.

Smith, a fan of Louis Vuitton shoes, has been seen sporting the brand’s collection of chunky footwear releases on several occasions. In October of 2023, the star attended the brand’s spring 2024 menswear presentation during Paris Fashion Week in a pair of black Louis Vuitton combat boots. Smith styled his classic choice of footwear by wrapping the laces’ extended length around his ankles and strategically tucking portions of his oversized denim jeans into the shoe’s opening.

Additional celebrity guests who supported the brand at Thursday’s cocktail dinner were Donald Glover, Barry Keoghan, Steven Yeun, Peso Pluma, Julez Smith Jr., Cam Hicks, Paul Downs, Lionel Boyce, A$AP Nast and Travis Bennett, among others.

About the Shoes

The $1,210.00 style, crafted in an iconized white and gold colorway, features an exaggerated rubber sole detailed in bright gold and leather white upper embossed with Louis Vuitton’s “LV” logo. Additionally, the shoes are adorned with gold detailing along the sides, heel and toe, as well as matching white laces.

Chunky sneakers have risen in popularity significantly over the past few years, with a number of designer collections featuring the silhouette alongside classic styles. Several celebrities have even been seen styling the chunky sneaker trend on the red carpet. Recently, Billie Eilish, publicly one of the trend’s biggest fans, was seen sporting a chunky sneaker to the 2024 People’s Choice Awards and 2024 Costume Designers Guild Awards.
