TikTok faves Jaden Hossler and Nessa Barrett have been through a lot during their year-long relationship. The couple managed to overcome speculation rumors surrounding their breakups with their exes, Mads Lewis and Josh Richards, which included Jaden's mom, Amy Denaé Hossler, getting involved with the TikTok drama. Now, Jaden and Nessa are the subjects of breakup rumors after fans suggested the duo unfollowed each other on social media.

Jaden took to Instagram seemingly addressing the hearsay. An Instagram fan account uploaded the now-deleted Instagram Story that Jaden captioned, "Just so everyone is clear, I didn't unfollow anyone." The singer added, "I definitely don't handle things online." Jaden continued, "Life isn't what it seems. Sad to see things roll out like they are, but I don't want this." At the time of Jaden's post, he followed his girlfriend, but she wasn't following him.

While Jaden is currently following Nessa on Instagram, she still does not follow him. The pop star took to Instagram to address speculation that she unfollowed Jaden as a tool to help promote her album. "yall pls I don't do pr stunts I genuinely don't care enough to do something like that," she wrote. "I promise u literally one person can listen to my album and I'd be happy. it's not coming out for months either."

Nessa previously opened up to Seventeen about her relationship with Jaden during a chat in January 2022. She confirmed that they recently moved in together. "The energy in the house is already insane," she said. "We finished setting up our studio, and we sing nonstop, it's incredible. We have so many instruments that we play. Even when we're bored, we'll find beats on YouTube and play and freestyle, and it's the funniest thing ever."

She also dished on their daily morning routine. "We started this thing where we wake up in the morning, and for 30 minutes, we won't go on our phone or on any social media or any technology. We'll just wake up and enjoy being present for the first 30 minutes of life, go outside and do anything without using the TV or our phones or anything. It starts the day in a creative mindset, and it's really cool."
