Jada Pinkett Smith is reveling at her recent hair growth, and fans and friends are applauding her "radiant beauty" both with and without it.

The actress took to Instagram with a new snapshot, showing off a fresh face and a somewhat new 'do. Different from the shaved hair look she's been sporting due to her alopecia battle, the Set It Off star debuted a short, icy blonde haircut in her latest update.

Pinkett Smith posted a duo of images on the social media platform on Aug. 7, showing off the current look versus the one she has been known to rock over the past few years since making her health condition public.

"This here hair is act’n like it’s try’n a make a come back. Still have some trouble spots but — we’ll see✨," she wrote in the upload's caption, before explaining the timing that the displayed pictures were taken: "Slide 1: Past" and "Slide 2: Present."

The Red Table Talk hostess' followers hopped into the comment section to let her know how "beautiful" she looked, both in the first photo without hair, and in the second, with.

"Radiantly beautiful through and through 😍🫂🙌🏽🌹," author Lalah Delia affirmed, while Lena Waithe agreed the photos were "gorgeous."

"Beautiful either way. 😍," one fan complimented, as Toni Braxton simply concurred: "Beautiful! 🧡"

The Gotham actress first began to open up about her struggle with alopecia in May 2018, on an episode of her Facebook Watch series.

“It was one of those times in my life where I was literally shaking with fear,” she divulged of her first experiences with the hair loss condition to her co-hosts on the show: mother, Adrienne Banfield Norris, and daughter, Willow Smith.

“That’s why I cut my hair — and why I continue to cut it. I just had [thought], ‘OK, I think we’re gonna do another layer of cutting,’ you know? And my hair has been a big part of me. Taking care of my hair has been a beautiful ritual, you know? And having the choice to have hair or not, and then one day to be like, ‘Oh, my God, I might not have the choice,’” the Girls Trip actress said at the time.

After initially wearing turbans to cover her head, the Jason's Lyric star had begun to embrace her shaved look, taking to the 2022 Oscars red carpet alongside husband and Best Actor award winner of the night, Will Smith, as radiant as ever in a glamorous green gown.

More recently, the 51-year-old revealed news of her memoir, Worthy, due out this October.
