Which Jacquemus Row Boat Would You Want to Be on?

Jacquemus' runway shows are always memorable, even on their set design alone. These eye-grabbing locales also often require unconventional seating arrangements for guests.

In the case of its Fall 2023 "Le Chouchou" waterfront debut at Versailles on Monday, the traditional row of seats simply didn't suffice — so the brand instead had guests board row boats on its Grand Canal and take in the new collection from the water. That also meant that many celebrities were paired off, as each boat accommodated two passengers, plus a rower. While some duos were obvious (David and Victoria Beckham sat together, of course), other combinations were surprising and delightful.

Tina Kunakey and Adèle Exarchopoulos looked like they were having a ball, while Karol G and Law Roach posed cutely together. Meanwhile, Emily Ratajkowski and Aron Piper made for an incredibly good-looking pair on their row boat.

It makes you wonder: How did the Jacquemus team decide who went where? Did some of these people know each other prior? What's the pre-show small talk like in this environment? Is there extra room in Bretman Rock and Rickey Thompson's boat?

The images coming out of the Jacquemus "Le Chouchou" show are thus much more entertaining to sift through than the typical post-event celebrity media blast.
